[2-[[dimethyl-(1-phenyl-3-prop-2-enoyloxypropan-2-yl)silyl]oxy-dimethylsilyl]-3-phenylpropyl] prop-2-enoate - Introduction
1, 3-bis [(acryloyloxymethyl) phenethyl] tetramethyldisiloxane, chemical structure:
CH3(CH2)4Si(OCOC(CH3)=CH2)2(OSi(CH3)2(CH2)4CH=C(CH3)C6H4)2
The compound has the following properties and uses:
Nature:
-Appearance is colorless to light yellow viscous liquid.
-Soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and aromatic hydrocarbons.
-Good thermal stability and chemical resistance.
Use:
-As a silicone monomer, it can be used to synthesize silicone polymers and silicone elastomers.
-Used as a plasticizer and modifier to improve the flexibility, ductility and weather resistance of polymers.
-Used to prepare optical and electronic materials, such as optical adhesives for liquid crystal displays.
-It can be used as a surface treatment agent to improve the adhesion and wettability of materials.
-As an anti-wrinkle and skin care agent, added to cosmetics and skin care products.
Preparation Method:
1,3-Bis [(acryloyloxymethyl) phenethyl] tetramethyldisiloxane can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. Acrylic anhydride is reacted with 1,3-dimethoxysilane to generate 1,3-dimethoxysilyl acetone anhydride.
2.1,3-Dimethoxysilylacetone anhydride is esterified with styrene in the presence of an acid catalyst to obtain 1,3-bis [(acryloyloxymethyl) phenethyl] tetramethyldisiloxane.
Safety Information:
- 1,3-bis [(acryloyloxymethyl) phenethyl] tetramethyldisiloxane is an organic silicon compound and generally does not have acute toxicity.
-During use, it is recommended to take appropriate protective measures, including wearing chemical protective gloves and goggles.
